Yehliu Geopark is famous for its sea-erosion landscape.

The naturally formed landscape is a delight to be seen. I felt like I'm not in Taiwan anymore and more of like I'm somewhere else. Most of the spots are actually very close to the sea with big gigantic waves slammed the edges of this park.  I don't usually know if the waves there are always high and strong or just maybe because of the weather that day.

It's raining and the wind is strong, but there are still lots of people were there to see the "queen's head". It's the rock formation that looks like the queen's head that's why it was called that. A friend from Taiwan told me that there's usually a long line just to take picture with it but when we went there's really not that much. I'd rather take picture with other rocks or a group of rocks rather that one so I just didn't really care about it. DGAF it's my trip anyways. Besides, it's a wide park and the total distance measured from the entrance of the Yehliu Geopark to the end of the cape is about 1.7 km. So you will pretty much do the walking.

Honestly, I was expecting that they will charge more and I was wrong. $80 NTD is actually not bad for this place, If the weather is even better, you can get to relax by the ocean just watching the waves and hike this to the light house. They offer a free Traveling Information guide that can be found in the visitor center. A Brief Introduction of Yehliu just right after entering. They also have dining, post Card Stores, exhibit and a DIY Classroom.

I know this is a little overwhelming already, I was amazed seeing the outcome in our photos since there's too much rain that day but I guess, it still wants to show off it's beauty. Captivating indeed, much more seeing it personally. Then again, I don't want to spoil you the fun so save it while exploring here when you decided to go.

This may seem like you're in a deserted place, NOPE. There's a lot of food stall just right outside this park or even 7/11 or family mart.

Say Something...
