Located in the Southern part of Luzon and component city in Cavite's Province, Tagaytay is one of the best place to go for vacations mainly because of it's climate having a lower humidity and abundance in rainfall which makes it cooler compared  to Metro Manila.

With that said, many people wants to visit

Tagaytay so that they can escape the heat and overly populated Manila which is  actually just a couple of  hour drive away.

From NAIA Terminal 1 or NAIA Terminal 2

From outside the airport, Look for a bus that says EDSA

Ask the bus driver if that bus will go to Southwest Bus Terminal.

If not, get off at Edsa and ride another bus that goes to Southwest Bus Terminal where you need to ride another bus:

Either to Calatagan, Lemery, Nasugbu, or Lian (Fare:80php-100php)

From NAIA Terminal 3

From outside the airport, Look for jeepneys with signboard Pasay Taft Rotonda.

Kindly ask the driver to drop you off there if you're unfamiliar.

At Rotonda, ride buses with signboard MIA to take you to the Southwest Bus Terminal where you take bus to Tagaytay

(Fare:80php-100php)

From NAIA Terminal 4

The best way is to get a Taxi to Southwest Bus Terminal Station

where you need to ride another bus:

Either to Calatagan, Lemery, Nasugbu, or Lian (Fare:80php-100php)

Due to Tagaytay's mild climate, Picnic Grove is the best Picnic park to go to in Luzon that is just within your rich if you live in Manila.

For people who have never been here, I'd definitely recommend going here if you want to celebrate a family day once in a while. It may take you couple of hours commuting from Manila but it will definitely be worth it. For as low as 50php as an entrance fee, you get to enjoy the area the whole day.

This park is perfect for recreation. They have hanging bridge and a long path to walk on to, to walk around the place. They also have Zip lines to give yourself some thrill or enjoy the cable Zip lines for the whole family to enjoy the Taal's view.

Or enjoy Picnic Grove with your special someone. This is also  a perfect place and actually a romantic place to go spend time with each other. They have tables with umbrellas all around the view deck. So, while you are all enjoying the view you can have a great picnic on the table at the same time. Tagaytay's Climate actually suits the ambiance of relaxation.

There will be a lot of people around since this is one of the tourist spots of Tagaytay but this never go out-of-date. I have been in there when I was little and people are still fond of going here so that actually means it's a great place still to come and visit.

Honestly, there is just so much to write about this place as there's a lot you can do around here and we're just starting to show you the basics.

As we are  walking around picnic grove we found this amazing view that of course, i needed to at least take picture of. Seeing pine trees reminds me of Baguio and saving you time and zigzag roads you'll experience little Baguio here. Well it might not be as cold as it is in Baguio, Tagaytay will give you enough chilling moments to enjoy a less heat summer vacation.

Horseback riding is my favorite part to do in this place. With just as little as 150php-200php per hour you get to enjoy the thrill of riding a horse.

Being in the urban side, riding a horse may seem impossible to experience at all but with Tagaytay's horseback riding I get to experience it for the first time. Nervous and excited at the same time, I get to panic a lot but theres no need to worry if you are like me. You can ask a tour guide to help you and comes with you thru your horseback riding so that whatever may happen there's someone that knows exactly what to do.

On top of that, We actually get a free photographer to capture both our first time riding a horse. Though people thought it was almost like a pre-nup, well it's just a good photo taken by the tour guide.

To be generous for tour guides who don't ask for money but passionately doing their job, I believe he deserves an extra money that may help him a little. I gave him 50php for escorting us and also for being our photographer without asking anything in return. So if you can at least give a tip, might as well do so especially if you knew they did good!

Horseback Riding Moments

If you have never heard of it, Sky ranch is a recently built amusement park located in the southern part of  Metro Manila which is in Tagaytay City that features the tallest ferris wheel in our country.

The area is like an open park with a variety of thrilling rides scattered all over the place. These rides vary from the lightest or easiest rides to the most thrilling which suits both adults and kids. There are also extreme outdoor activities such as zip lines  They also have different restaurants just right outside the barriers of the park which are really good food so you don't have to worry about being hungry.

The very first thing to try is non other than the ferris wheel!!! My boyfriend who is afraid of heights have the guts to face this monstrous ride just to give it a try. It's really the best ferris wheel ride here since the view of taal lake  adds up to this amazing feeling.
