Yehliu Geopark is famous for its sea-erosion landscape that can be found in Yehliu, Taiwan.
Honestly, I was expecting that they will charge more and I was wrong. $80 NTD is actually not bad for this place, If the weather is even better, you can get to relax by the ocean just watching the waves and hike this to the light house. They offer a free Traveling Information guide that can be found in the visitor center. A Brief Introduction of Yehliu just right after entering. They also have dining, post Card Stores, exhibit and a DIY Classroom.
I felt like I'm not in Taiwan anymore and more of like I'm somewhere else. Because I didn't know that this landscapes can be also seen in Taiwan. I only picture Taiwan as a big modern city like Singapore and Hong Kong. Seeing this, I'd say that Taiwan have been underrated due to lack of tourism and knowledge of what can really be seen in Taiwan.
The naturally formed landscape is a delight to be seen. These enormous formations are lined up with each other but there are also some that are scattered by itself and some are in groups. Most of the spots are actually very close to the sea with big gigantic waves slammed the edges of this park. I don't usually know if the waves there are always high and strong or just maybe because of the weather that day.
I know this is a little overwhelming already, I was amazed seeing the outcome in our photos since there's too much rain that day but I guess, it still wants to show off it's beauty. Captivating indeed, much more seeing it personally. Then again, I don't want to spoil you the fun so save it while exploring here when you decided to go.
This may seem like you're in a deserted place, NOPE. There's a lot of food stall just right outside this park or even 7/11 or family mart.
