When I went here 6 years ago, this was known for as Crocodile Farming Institute. Now they have change the name to Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center tour which suites it best because not only crocodiles can be seen here but other wild life animals too.
This is the farthest place to visit in all the tours that we have been and we were picked up as early as 4am. We also have to pick up other guest from their hotels so it added a lot more hours just to travel to all of our co-tourist places.
There are two types of crocodiles they have here:
Saltwater Crocodile or Indo-Pacific Crocodile (Crocodylus Porosus)
Philippine Freshwater Crocodile or Mindoro Crocodile (Crocodylus Mindorensis).
...and they also have other endemic species here aside from the crocodiles.
Animal lovers, this place is for you. You just don't get to see these animals in person but you also get to interact with them. This wildlife also serves as home for endemic crocodiles and a research center where people can learn more about the crocodiles.
You can also find this in this wildlife tour, the Palawan Bear Cat that looks really cute and fluffy but be sure not to go close to them as they may get agitated.
See a lot more of the wildlife animals that are endemic in Palawan such as birds, porcupines, bearcats and honestly so much more!
You also get to see the remains of once was the largest crocodile in the world. In front of me was its bone that you can clearly see is so much bigger than I am. I can't imagine seeing him alive, this almost terrifies me. The skin of it is the one you can see behind me, honestly that could be as big as my bed.
Want to get a remembrance from this area? they have souvenir shops just around the corner and grab some of these stuffed toy because they are simply fluffier, cuter and safer.
