Friendly Advise:

It's better to use MAPS or GMAPS if you're confused about the streets

One of the most heard travel destination in Taiwan, mainly because of the movie called spirited away. This unique street was originally built by the Japanese and now as this old street booms with tourist, not just maze of lanes and alleyways with rich history and culture can be found but also a lot of stores selling food and stuff that is part of the culture are being sold.

Many buildings in this town remain unchanged and it is literally is an old street ,reflecting the Japanese influence on these architectures and their culture. Now all those add up to it's beauty that captures every tourist heart to get to visit it.

If you're a fan of tea's then you are in the right place. This very tea house that we're standing is a 100 years old teahouse. Right at the back of this tea house is a tea house museum. Taiwan's tea have a touch of both Chinese and Japanese tea which in my opinion is pretty good. One of the good tasting tea I ever tasted. Although since it's a tourist spot, teas and almost everything is a little too pricey.

Over all, this is still a good experience because of it's beauty. Plus points for it's 100 years of standing still, (you know it like i have said, I have a thing for vintage architectures). Raining and still this street is flooding with people. You just can't see in most of our photos because we patiently wait for perfect moments where there's not that much people. But there's a crowd all over the place the whole time we are there.

Say Something...
