Dragon Tiger Pagoda is the most popular travel destination in Kaohsiung. Famous for it's Pagoda by the lake which compliments each other. Me and my boyfriend went to visit it and we are not disappointed. Despite the crowd and the rain, these pagodas are just like a jewel in the eye. People believe that entering the mouth of the tiger first and exiting the dragon's mouth will bring you bad luck, so take note of that!
This is the back of the Pagoda that I took picture of, in the day light and after the sun set.
It is stunning indeed no matter what time of the day you go, although you cant enter inside at night, but you get to see the Pagoda lighted up that makes it shine more.
I'd say that this would be the next best temple I have visited in Taiwan. I still love Fo Guang Shan better.
This is the front view of Dragon Tiger Pagoda in which there's a Dragon head with structure on the outside of the Pagoda and a tiger's head on the other side. Their pathway is really nice plus it's a zigzag so I think it added up to the beauty and uniqueness of this place.
This is the Dragon's mouth and you should enter here first, otherwise you'll have bad luck.
This one is the Tiger's mouth and yhis serves as your exit.
